Game crashes in Mission 8

When u use the magnet suit from cyborg, it allway insta crashes.
I tryed to run as admin and activated the compatibility mode for win7 and win8
nothing helped :(
any other tipps?

I tryed this, the config txt was allready on 60 and I turned into 44100 quality, even my remote friend did the same with his sound on windows.

we tryed again with disabled bloom option and we will try again with the lowest option u can configure and when it doen´t work then, it´s the only lego game we can´t play :(

Really late response I know. I had the exact same problem however I managed to get around it by using my old computer. I have two computers, one high end and one low end and for some reason the glitch only happens on my really good PC but it doesn't happen on my old PC so I just played the level on my old PC.

If you just so happen to have an old PC, family computer lying around somewhere try using that. That's the main reason as to why I have two computers because, I'm aware that sometimes when you get a glitch in a game on one system, it doesn't mean that the same glitch will apply in another.

it's not problem with settings, it's a problem with game mechanics. if you stand too close to more than 1 activatable object the magnet power crashes

The game crashed a lot for me on Level 8 which I was playing tonight. Switching the game to DirectX 9 mode in the options menu fixed it. This solution correlates with the above answer about the game working better on an old PC, because that probably defaults to DirectX 9 instead of DirectX 11.
