This or Lego Batman 2?

I played Lego Marvel Superheroes with my gf and we liked it a lot, now I want some similar game with open world to show her the world of DC comics, but which game does that better? Batman 2 or 3?

I appreciate all kind of opinions.

After all the research I have done, looks like 2nd is better than 3rd one. Tbh I haven't played LEGO® Batman™ 3 (yet), but when I played Batman 2, I was really hooked in it (the story, the open world). It was really fun.

For me, Batman 3 wins out. In 2 I was quite disappointed in how late you get JLA characters in missions. But if you don't care about that, 2 may very well be a better game.

Well.. Honestly I personally didn't care about JLA chars.. I wanted to be the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Batman and roam the streets of Gotham (it's the thing, which sadly afaik isn't avaliable in Batman 3 ;_; ).

You mean, it's better for what you want. I personally like 3 better due to the JLA. I liked the story and gameplay better (relative, because I've loved all 3 Batman games) and found the size of Gotham a bit daunting but still fun.

You probably won't like it because it is not a "run around Gotham as Batman" game - it's "run around and save multiple worlds as the Justice League" kinda game.

It just proves that we all have a different taste for games (and we all want different things) so OP should do some more research about both games and decide what he wants himself.
