Reporting a bug

The quickest fixes come from reports with the run attached. Here's how:

1. Send it from the game if you can

Pause (Esc) and press Feedback. "Include this run" is already ticked, so your titan, gear, relics and seed go with it. Describe what happened and press Send.

There is also the Feedback button on the main menu which also lets you include your previous run.

2. If the game crashed

The crash message tells you where it saved crash_log.txt. Attach that file (or paste its contents) - it says exactly where the game fell over.

3. Want to include screenshots or videos or the run log then

Send it to us at https://TheKeeKCorporation@outlook.com

You can also turn on Run log for feedback in Settings. It saves a line per zone (gear, relics, damage taken, what killed you) to run_log.csv next to your save. Nothing is sent anywhere so include it in your email to us.

Welcome

Welcome, pilot

Thanks for picking up Iron Stride. It's in Early Access, so the game is still growing, and what you post here decides a lot of what gets worked on next.

Where things go

Bug Reports - crashes, things that break, anything that looks wrong.
Balance & Suggestions - too strong, too weak, too boring, ideas for new stuff.
Builds & Runs - show off your loadouts, share seeds, post your scores.
General - everything else.

Feedback from inside the game

There's a Feedback button on the main menu and in the pause menu. You can rate the game, write what you think and attach your run (titan, gear, relics, seed). It comes straight to me. Leave your email if you'd like a reply.

Have fun out there.

Game balance suggestions

This is the place for balance. Early Access numbers are a first pass and they will move. The most useful posts say: What - a weapon, relic, titan, enemy, objective, difficulty tier. Why - what happened in your run that made it feel that way. Change - if you have an idea of how to make it better. Share it. Which difficulty you were on. “The Flame Projector feels useless” is a start. “The Flame Projector’s range is so short that tanks shell me the whole way in, and I’ve lost half my health befor...
