We have completely rebuilt much of the game from scratch and will continue to work on it some more

until it reaches a more polished state. We are releasing what we have now for feedback and to decide

what is and isn't fun for players.

Build Type: Early Test Build - Player Feedback Wanted!

Previously, all game systems were handled through RPG Maker events. This build introduces a complete plugin-driven overhaul with custom scenes, new mechanics, and a full UI. Everything listed below is new.

Storage Auctions

The core gameplay loop: bid on storage units at auction, then sell what you find.

- Full auction scene - A dedicated screen with animated item reveals, bidding controls, and AI opponents.

- Three bid types - Small Bid, Medium Bid, and Large Bid (keyboard shortcuts: 1, 2, 3). Each raises your bid by a configurable amount.

- AI bidders - Compete against AI opponents with distinct personalities. They track perceived item value, get heated when outbid, and can go on rage-bid streaks or give up entirely.

- Item preview phase - Before bidding begins, items in the storage unit are revealed one by one. Higher Knowledge skill lets you see more detail about each item (name, rarity, estimated value) rather than "??? Unknown Item."

- Mystery Boxes - Some storage units contain mystery boxes. Winning one triggers a gacha-style spinning wheel that reveals a random item with a random condition. Luck stat biases the outcome toward better results.

- Post-auction flow - Won items are automatically added to your inventory. If you lose, the scene closes cleanly.

Inventory System

Manage your storage warehouse of acquired goods.

- Storage grid - Visual grid of up to 50 inventory slots showing item sprites, condition badges, and market trend indicators.

- Item conditions - Every item has a condition: Poor (50% value), Fair (75%), Good (100%), or Excellent (150%). Condition is color-coded throughout the UI.

- Repair system - Queue items for repair (takes 1 day). Repairs can succeed (condition improves one tier), fail (no change), or critically succeed (jumps multiple tiers). Knowledge and Luck stats affect outcomes.

- Market trends - 7 item categories (Electronics, Antiques, Collectibles, Furniture, Art, Tools, Luxury) each have a daily market trend that shifts prices up or down. Trend arrows and percentages are shown on items.

- Item discovery - The first time you see an item, it's logged in your discovery list. Knowledge XP accumulates as you interact with items, progressively revealing more pricing and detail information.

- Estimated values - Each item displays an "Est. Market Value" based on its base value, condition, market trend, and your knowledge level. Values are cached and never decrease as your knowledge grows.

- Sorting & filtering - Sort inventory by value, condition, or category.

Sales Floor

Open your shop and negotiate with customers.

- Customer generation - Each day brings a set of customers with unique personality traits: Intelligence, Greed, Patience, Collecting interest, Knowledge, and Wealth. These traits drive all negotiation behavior.

- Buy & sell modes - ~70% of customers want to buy your items; ~30% arrive wanting to sell items to you.

- Full negotiation system - Customers make opening offers based on their perceived value of the item. You can Accept, Counter-Offer, or Reject. Customers respond dynamically — patient ones counter back, greedy ones lowball, collectors overpay for categories they love.

- Counter-offer mechanics - When you counter, the customer considers your price against their own valuation. They may accept, walk away, or counter again. Previous best offers are tracked so deals never get worse.

- Keyboard price adjustment - Use Left/Right arrows to adjust your counter-offer price in real time.

- Charisma bonus - Your Charisma skill level gives a percentage bonus to all customer offers.

- Customer dialogue - Over 150 unique dialogue lines based on customer mood, the negotiation phase, and outcome (happy purchase, reluctant sale, frustrated walk-away, etc.).

- Daily customer persistence - Customer counts are tracked per day, so reloading a save won't reset who showed up.

GlorpCorp Weekly Fee

- Every 7 days, GlorpCorp deducts a facility fee from your credits (base 1000cr, escalating with each payment).

- If you can't pay, you get a boss scolding scene. Miss payment 3+ times and things get serious.

- Adds ongoing financial pressure to keep selling and stay profitable.

Player Progression

- Player Level & XP - Earn XP from successful sales. Level up to earn skill points.

- Skill points - Allocate points into three skills:

- Knowledge - Reveals more item detail in tooltips, improves repair success, tightens value estimates.

- Charisma - Boosts customer offer prices during negotiation.

- Luck - Improves mystery box outcomes and repair critical success chance.

- Knowledge XP - Separate from player XP. Accumulates passively as you inspect and interact with items. Every 100 Knowledge XP grants +1 Knowledge automatically.

Stats Dashboard

A dedicated statistics scene accessible from the navigation bar.

- Player Tab - Your level, XP progress, skill point allocation, and total credits.

- Business Tab - Lifetime sales count, total revenue, average sale price, customers served, GlorpCorp fees paid.

- Inventory Tab - Items currently held, total inventory value, items repaired, discovery count, auction history.

- Market Tab - Visual trend bars for all 7 categories showing current day's market movement (trending up, down, or stable).

Navigation & UI

- Dynamic navigation overlay - Context-sensitive buttons appear on the Galactic Hub and Auction House maps:

- Galactic Hub: Inventory, Sales Floor, Stats, Planets, Stock Market

- Auction House: Inventory, Sales Floor, Stats, Stock Market

- Planet submenu - The "Planets" button opens a popup listing available planets (e.g., Omnicron). Selecting a planet triggers its associated event. The list is fully configurable.

- Credits display - Your current credits are always visible in the navigation bar.

- Consistent UI design - All scenes share a unified dark-blue color palette with gold accents, rounded panels, and smooth sprite-based animations.

Tooltip System

- Hovering over any item (in auctions, inventory, or sales) shows a detailed tooltip.

- Information revealed scales with your Knowledge level:

- Low knowledge: Item name may be hidden, value shown as a wide range, condition shown as approximate.

- High knowledge: Full item name, precise value, exact condition, repair cost, and market trend.

- Tooltips also show rarity tier (Common / Uncommon / Rare / Epic / Legendary) based on base value.
