Over the last 5 years we've all come to realize your dedication to this project was pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy, but now we also know you have no sense of loyalty. Just another game developer who'll be changing their name in the future to hide from their reputation.
Ye this is how it feels for me too, ive been with this game form when it was a simple template. i liked it and wanted to support you guys no matter what, even when it got tough since you guys had other stuff going on in your private lifes, we didnt whine much. but this ? yes. it feels a kick in the balls yeah.

We need larger ISLAND, not a larger world... oh gosh these devs.

I’ve been a fan of this game since jack f*****g septiceye played it and used the glitch with the paddle to go fast, and to finally own it myself and be lucky enough to have the console ending I can say. It needs a lot of work guys, the pigs fly when you throw spears at them the islands lag the FPS out badly when your about to go to an island, and no splitscreen or multiplayer for a small game. Are you sure guys? 😂 And to find out you haven’t even finished the pc version yet is bad too and I feel sorry for any of the loyal pc players you have had for years. Give them the update they need and give us our multiplayer or splitscreen and please for the love of all pc gamers and console players please release an update fixing your bugs like yucca plants spawning in rocks etc the list goes on.

Also add some more larger islands like everyone is asking for maybe.. with structures and crap.

This will end up being another 7 days to die. stays in alpha for almost a decade, and not improving anything important

I think 10 years are already passed haha you're a bit late! This was already worse than 7 days to die a few years ago. Sad you figured it out now. :(

how long release on PC version
Game is abandoned a few years ago, and is now supported with fake updates just to keep it alive and continue to sell, but this version is basically the same of the one released a few years ago.

So don't wait the release, game will be the same even that day. If you want to waste your money on this game, do it now, since you will get the same things.

Well, considering its harder on pc since theres less hardware uniformity so it coul take longer yeah.

but im not really positive tbh. it still feels like im kickedi nthe balls and that console make it easier to put out a full game doesnt mean they should use MY money .... cuz i payed for the PC version, not the console version.

but ye. money talks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ walks. lets take this as a elsson not to preorder or support anything thats going on EPIC store or console. if theres a whiff of that. just abandon the next dev. theyr deserve it probably.

Want a good game? add Co-op, more exploring

I sure would love to complete the game on PC , so glad the consoles got it, great way to alienate the PC base. lol. What is wrong with developers today. These early access games are a farce, I wish we could get completed products like the old days...... I'll know what to expect from Beam Team Games in the future.

I just bought the game on console (PS4) and reached day 12, when my raft disappeared from the beach where I anchored it. (You never know if there is some bug of "feature" happening in that game that moves it into the water.) So I am now stuck on an island full of giant rocks in an ocean full of rocks and could not build a new raft because I was out of rocks. :steamsad:

Right now I am not that eager to start a new game again, to be railroaded into another dead end that is sealed behind me by a bug that was started to be reported in 2015! Well.. I could... but right now I would have to play the game, and every two or three ingame days, I would have to leave the game, copy the SINGLE save on an usb stick and cross fingers that I did not just save a game breaking bug into my game. All just to avoid an absolutely game breaking bug known to the devs for years...

BtW... could anyone tell the devs about survival strategies? You know like:
- chewing fish meat and sucking the water (no, salt water fish are NOT salty)
- solar distilleries for salt water (made from plastic bottles or steel drums even without one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ piece of rope)
- how rain water is gathering in rocky terrain features (like the pine island hills) and slowly seeps from springs even there, acting like a huge rain water collector
- how those rocks even form natural cisterns (as water washes away stone over time)

Or how about:
- keels
- carving a boat from a tree trunk (which ends up with a boat thrice as stable as a raft)
- adding outriggers
- a BIGGER rudder 2.0

And don't talk to me about:
- sideway swimming sharks that grab you with their belly
- not being able to pluck a young palm tree with my bare hands (mind the nail varnish!)
- ROCKS... did I mention to die of thirst, because someone decided to make rocks a limited or even rare resource on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rock covered island in an even more unholy ocean full of rocks?!
- how the Grinch stole the primitive pickaxe and only left the advanced pickaxe behind to be built with leather

Lesson learned: Only because a game is released on console as a "complete" version, does not mean it is still in early access in it's original form.

It's not complete. Several things are sill missing from the both versions. Both are EA.

Console PS4 players are having a difficult time achieving the “10 days at sea achievement. We don’t have container shelves so it’s difficult to secure our crates on the raft. If possible can that be added in the next update?
Thank you kindly :)
katiem May 9, 2020 @ 1:10pm
oof, so basically you took our EA money to work on the console version for the past 5 years?

isn't this fraud?

and only now you've got your console cash cow you're throwing the people you took money from to pay for it a bone by finally developing the PC version??

imagine if a console developer asked console players for money for a game, then put it on hold for 5 years to develop the game for PC instead using their money, and only then [porting it to console after. there'd be an outcry.

but doing it the other way around is fine it seems.
