Something to do in Stranded Deep
Well I have gotten to the point to where things in stranded deep have gotten easy .Like I have a good water supply and food supply and I have a big base and lighting is good because I have lanterns and torches . But I am strating to get to a point where I dont have anything to do thats productive .Because I know that I could just make a million lashings or kill a ton of tiger sharks but these things I just said none of those ideas are that fun . So i would like if you people reading this could tell me some ideas of what to do so that i could explore more of the fun of stranded deep .:steamhappy:

When I reach this point, I often just start over with a new world. Or sometimes I make goals for myself...like visit all 25 islands in the world map. And then make sure every island has a camp on it with shelter, food and water so I can travel anywhere and find a camp when I get there.

go download some custom maps in the map editor. lots of things to explore and shipwrecks to dive for. another thing is to get into the map editor and create some islands for us to download. i like to play other peoples maps. you can play your own but you know where everything is.

It's a sandbox and you do need to set up roleplaying elements yourself.

Map all 25 Islands is core. I do that on all maps I play on.
Explore all wrecks. Only medium Islands have them and they are all on the shelf of the Islands so as part of Island discovery I will get all wrecks by default.

I also use a logic when starting a map. The plane went down at the starter Island. Rescue won't happen because of me. It will happen because of the planes Black Box, so I want to be as near as possible to that Black Box. As such I build my main base on Starter Island.

This relies on me importing stuff to survive and resources to build. It greatly extends play throughs as I must build forward outposts to get to the outer rim of Islands. Then export back to the starter Island through the relay outposts. Usually 4 relay outposts because those 4 loacations offer horizon views of all other Islands on the map including the starter Island (Home base) and it allows me to control my whole map and assign resource status of every Island.
