Any plans for a fast travel version?
Well done!
I'll download and test it on my Win8.1 x64 system and report back for you.
EDIT: Works like a charm on Win8.1 x64.
Well done!
I really like the concept of using an external DLL for mods. Unless you delete whole swaths of code, you are pretty much limited to just functionality that is added to the game, but updating a mod for a new official game update seems like it may be quicker as well as developing the mod itself.
I am excited to see where you take this. Keep up the great work!
I forgot to say that, since this is just a preview, it is not finished yet.
The settings window is not finished yet so the "Mod Settings" button does nothing for everyone, it's not a bug :P
You can only access the navigation funciontalities / developer console as described in the OP for now.
Yes, it was intended, you need to enter the search term and press Return to populate the search result list, instead of a progressive search while typing the search term.
The choice was for performance purposes and because there is no biome property to distinguish a renamed biome in the list.
I'll try to see if it is possible to semplify a little more this functionality, thx for the suggestion.
Keeping the mod code safe from official game patches and writing the mod code on a normal development tool has no price.
I'll release the mod source when i have something more stable.
Quick idea. You could pre-populate the list with island type biomes that do not have "NodeID_ISLAND" in the name field.
I.E. A List such as this...
"name": "Home Island"
"name": "NodeID_ISLAND_f2eaa35a-c1cc-447b-b05a-67b436b9d871"
"name": "Big Rock Island"
"name": "Ship Wreck Island"
"name": "NodeID_ISLAND_264bfa3d-5e6c-448a-8363-374c7cacdbb2"
"name": "Random Island #1"
"name": "Random Island #2"
"name": "NodeID_ISLAND_b7a631d0-25fd-4931-954b-29217d466032"
"name": "NodeID_ISLAND_b6e5c2ac-9c38-4d47-ba77-c255e1ac547d"
Would only return.
"Home Island"
"Big Rock Island"
"Ship Wreck Island"
"Random Island #1"
"Random Island #2"
Just a suggestion. I am not saying that I was able to do this already by modifying your code, but if I did I would be happy to give you the lines of code that I added ;-P Although I think a person capable of coming up with this awesome mod in the first place could easily do it ;-)

This could also be expanded to ignore default named biomes of other types besides islands as well.
O.T.: wtf with your raft!?!? it's alive lol
That is my pet Motor Bot. He has something like 20 motors! He keeps me company while I test mods ;-)
