toolbelt mod?

new to the modding scene. Just curious if there is any mods that make the toolbelts free up backpack slots when using them. I . . . think that's how they work on console?

that would be more realistic. In reality, a "tool belt" is something you hang tools off of, so I don't quite understand why that isn't part of this game. If they want to keep it more realistic, they can omit things like spears, rocks, coconuts (but the coconut flask should be attachable, because canteens and many water bottles have carabiners to attach to your belts or back pack). Essentially things you would not attach to your tool belt and back packs IRL would not be able to go into a tool belt slot. As it is, the "tool belt" is pointless, because once you assign an item and then remove it from your back pack, it's removed from the "tool belt" and you have to reassign it again when you pick it back up.
