Issue not being able to drag/grab stuff...?

No matter what I do I can't seem to grab anything to drag it. I tried changing mouse keys, changing keyboard keys, changing to controller, uninstalling and reinstalling the game...nothing. Occasionally when I click of double-click the grab button the object I'm trying to grab gives a sad little wiggle but stops and "drops". I can't grab and move anything

Cannot drag anything...

I know this might sound stupid to ask, but do you use right or left click, holding down, to drag?

Right click, holding it down grabs it for a split second then immediately lets go.... its not my mouse either, I've tried 3 different mice and 2 different controllers... I've also changed the keybind numerous times and it all does the same thing....

Could you tell a little more about your computer system?

I had this issue. I believe it's related to remapping the drag key.
Try resetting the controls to default (option at the bottom of the key mapping screen). It fixed it for me.
