I would sort of prefer a solo or co-op deal. Maybe with a no kill your partner clause.
such as in rust in please..
IMO both game modes should have different features. Like, in multi there should be enemies (pirates?), two-man jobs (carrying a log) etc.
And in single there should be cutscenes(?) or different objects (loot).
The more I think about this issue, the more I hope that the developers either keep the game single player or at the very least, stick to a pure co-op based multiplayer, with no way of hunting and killing other players.
With respect to Gamng Appetizer's post above. Stranded Deep is NOT The Forest and hopefully will not become another cannibal or zombie infested clone.
It is interesting to note that The Forest added a "vegan mode" to it, that removed the cannibals.....
