How to relight firepit?

Hi world can anyone let me know how i relight an extinguished fire pit, thanks!

first take some sticks or palm fronds selected, then mouse over the fire like you were going to attack it. Hit LMB. this will add more fuel. then simply light again with your lighter.

it doesn't work in my game. when i hit LMB and select camp fire i'm forced to put it out of the fire pit every time. the place where i have the previous fire it's never able to be used again. i have to build new fire pits all over the island, it's insane, and i can't find a way to destroy them :\

Did you get this resolved? Im having the same problem. I cant re-light my firepit even after refuling and using my lighter on it.

You dont have to craft another camp fire. You got to equip a stick or palm leaf into your hand and look at the pit. Curser should turn into a cyrcle, hit the LMB and hold, this will add one stick or leaf to the pit.

I've run into this bug once. It wouldn't let me reload the fire with more sticks. I had to destroy it and build another fire pit. The new pit had no issues. Some data might have gotten corrupted. Try destroying it and building a new one.

LMB was back in the day... back when we rowed upstream both ways to get to a new isle.
