How do i build a bed?

I have made a foundation, a ladder and four supports but I don't know how to make a bed and sleep. Thank you.

you can build bed yes, use leaves, sticks and rope

Problem i am finding is that my last two islands had about two rocks on each so meant i had no way to build in the end, the other islands were miles away and would takme me all night sitting here holding the 'W' button down...

Are beds unable to go on foundation? I just finished my first hut and am ready to make a bed but hearing it won't go in the hut. I already tried one on the ground, that works.

Dont think you can place on foundation yet, sadly, hope they will fix that.

Nope, just tried it...in fact you can't put the bed anywhere except on the ground next to your hut. At least the bed works though!
