Stranded Deep and Stranded 2?

So I was wondering if Stranded Deep was the next game in the Stranded series but Steam didn't make any note of that and Google wasn't helpful either plus no one who reviewed the game seemed to have played Stranded 2. I assume it is but the crafting actually seems like a step back from Stranded 2's but everything else seems similar, aside the huge graphic difference, survive while stranded on an island in middle of nowhere. Getting the game but kinda wanna know if it is a follow-up or not. I would hope it is cause if not I sense an incoming lawsuit.

No. This has been stated repeatedly on both Stranded's website and here. Google or the forum search functions are your friend XD

Also there is no impending lawsuit, the word standed is used in so many titles that it would be impossible to win.

It was a great game I've played lots of hours with that. I'm waiting for Stranded 3

Stranded Deep would be lawsuit worthy had they not made any agreements prior to making it which apparently they did. The games title and the entirety of the game is exactly like the Stranded series.
Either way thanks for confirming that it wasn't a Stranded 3 but a standalone.

Stranded Deep is not affiliated with the Stranded series of games in any way, but they're a great series of games :)
