does it go on sale
is this game likely to go on sale in the near future (based on previous patterns) and should I buy it now or wait until later in development. What are the pros and cons of both?

Go on to CheapShark . com, search for Stranded Deep, and price alert it for the price you wish to buy it at. I would wait, much better to play the game later and have a more feature rich polished fun experience, than play now and have the bare bones buggy experience.

Get it now and have a say in the development of the game, which is very cool. There are a number of really solid Early Access games out there right now (this, The Forest, Space Engineers, 7 Days to Die, Planet Explorers, to name several) that are anything but "bare bones buggy" experiences. I got my money's worth SD a long time ago, and feel a bit of excitement about upcoming features and additions. If you do your research with EA games you can get in on some great titles and enjoy them that much longer.

Watch YouTubers play the games, you can make accurately informed desicions that way.

ok so now im kinda just wondering if it has gone on sale and weather or not I should buy it now or later

I don't think it's gone on sale yet, but buy it anyways. It's $US15, and with the exchange rates that will feed a pair of Aussie devs for 2 months.

Wait? I'm supposed to FEED them? You guys just said lock them in the basement until the next patch was done... you never said I had to feed them...

i swear if Ben spends one more night tapping out "help me" in morse code on the pipes I might just feed HIM to Sam...

no no dear Flux, I didn't say you had to feed them (or even let them out), I was implying that $15US would feed a pair of devs for that period, & I used the word "will" to further that implication. Never actually said it was to feed these devs....

Oh ok, had me worried there.

It's only 15 bucks, how cheap you want it?
Munki Apr 6, 2015 @ 4:34am
less than that. obviously.

Be thankful ,in Europe it's 15 EURO ,which is like 20 bucks .lol
Waiting is good for more content ,not really for smaller price.

^ Yep, I would assume the game will be $20-$40 when it's finished.

i willing to go for 15 bucks but I'm just wondering if it would be more enjoyable to play it now and see the game develop at risk of losing interest when its finally done or to just wait till summer or fall.

Buy now, play until you get bored, play again some months later, have a more challenging game then and fun again...
