Motor recipe?

Has the motor recipe changed in the last patch? I have an raft, fuel tank, carburetor, engine, propeller, stick and duckt tape - one of each of them - and I cant build the motor. Not with nor without a hammer

I haven't made a motor yet myself, but do the items need to be laid out next to the raft in order for you to make a motor?

Yea they do. I build one in 0.01h and started a new save in 0.02 but cant manage to craft the motor so far.

Are all of the items getting highlighted when you look at them? You may have to move them closer together. You do not need a Hammer or Raft to craft the motor, just the 4 engine parts, duct tape and a stick. You sure you have a Fuel Tank and not a Jerrycan? A screenshot of you trying to craft it might help diagnose the issue.

They are close together and highlighted. Also its a Fuel Tank and no Jerrycan.

now it works, all I found on google was to use the link provided from the bigger image which u get when you click on the shared image. But the link from the shared page worked

If you click on the Share button it will show the correct link that you should use.

Also, have you tried moving the parts away from the foundation?

Yea tried that too, also tried on land and in water. Strangely, after I reloaded the game now (and I reloaded it twice since I was trying to build the motor) I now was able to build it.
Got no crafting icon, but was buildable anyway.

Ya I tried it and it works near or away from a raft. Only things I can think of at this point are.

Have you used any game mods that replace the crafting files?
Have you tried saving your game, exiting Stranded Deep then reloading?
Have you tried to "Verify Integrity of Local Cache" for the game files?

Yes, yes and no. But it worked now so I would save my time and not check the cache :)
