Climbing DOWN a palm tree?
I don't know if it is just me, but i can climb up a palm tree very easy (as i'm sure you all can), but i can not seem to climb down from a tall one. I just end up falling and hurting myself. Is there a trick to it?

Yup
You have to come down in little moves, a couple feet at a time and keep the trunk centered in the view with the A and D keys.
No need to fall, just come down slower.

And don't look down while you crawl down, cus you'll end up jumping off the palm tree. Make sure your view is pointed at the 'middle', and not downwards at all.

Turn around to face away from the tree before climbing down. Works everytime.

I've never had an issue and I look down while climbing down, so long as I have the truck in the centre of the screen

I always end up breaking my legs if I do that. Strange.
