How can you live without sleep?

I've survived 5 days now and without sleeping because I haven't figured out how to craft a bed. Shouldn't I be dead by now?

Good question. I assume that will change in future updates. The bed and sleep part of the game is there, yet it is not finished. Don't worry, at some point having to have a hut to stay out of the weather and avoid getting sick, plus the need for sleep to avoid going Mad will be part of the game.

Although not sleeping for long periods of time can be very bad for your health. If you were forced to stay awake for 5 days, the worse symptoms would probably be hallucinations. Would probably take 30 days before you suffered any symptoms that would lead to death. This is assuming you were forced to stay awake with drugs or torture. Otherwise you would probably naturally pass out after approximately 3 days. Which could lead to death if you passed out in water and drown or hit your head on a rock as you collapsed.

Not a problem now, but as mentioned above, I am sure there will be repercussions in the future for not sleeping that would get worse over time and possibly lead to you spontaneously passing out which could cause you to drown if you fell into water.

yup, in arma 2 you were passing out quite easily if wounded which was well done IMO.. Shouldn't be too hard to implement such animations like falling backwards and slowly losing sight...

There are ways to survive upwards of a month without a single minute of sleep. So should you be dead by now? No.

24 x 5 = 120 minutes. I am sure you are alive lol. Seriously, maybe devs implement some other necessary stats at next uptades.
Have they implemented any temperature system?
