Now sharks think rafts are pinatas, you hit them and food falls out. The bouncy-castle raft is all jiggly fun for those who like that sort of thing, but the crude wooden raft is easier to stay centered on (wasd'ers out there, don't stand too close to the edge when sharks hit, adjust your position to recenter once you recover from each bump). As Sparzy mentioned, they do seem to paddle faster, and are easier to climb on if you get knocked off. Plus, that's 1 requirement to be able to use the outboard motor, which won't fit on the blimp of bump.
