LOST PADDLE

I lost my paddle after a shark attack. Is swimming between islands now my only form of transportation? Is it even possible with the shark attacks?

You can find new ones in old ship wrecks.

Yes, you can swim everywhere you go. Inorder to do that you will want to carry a bandage at all times! Then decide where you are going, either by line of sight or compass. Look directly at the spot you are heading for and Take your hand off your mouse! No matter what happens do not touch your mouse! Start swimming holding both W and left shift and when a shark attacks just keep swimming and Don't take your fingers off W and L-shift. I have only been killed by sharks once in this game start with 38 hours played and it took 4 sharks to kill me. 1 tiger, then 2 Great Whites and another Tiger right before I made it to land and could bandage myself up.

There are usually paddles in many lockers in shipwrecks. So you just need to swim until you find one. Or start a new game.

Good survival opportunity! As Ungoliant said, you can find others in loot locations.

Paddles float now, so if you lose it in the ocean somehow - or see one fly up out of a locker when you open it.. take a look for orange bobbing on the surface. (they don't seem too rare though, I have a pile of them now)

Boy you dont need a paddle or a raft BL
U just need a tree :D bring a tree with you while you travel
