Anyways.
Over LAN you'd only be with your friends, but the sense of this game is that you're lost. Alone. And maybe, among all the loneliness, you find someone.
So I think even in Co-Op you're not gonna spawn on one island. Not on the same, maybe close, but not on the same.
Just kidding.
Or not.
I currently have plenty of games to play, and I am waiting until this has co-op, because that would really be the only reason I would buy it. Same reason I bought the Forest, for the co-op
Because solo this game probably won't be any fun for them for a long time in its current state.
But if they add Co-Op, they can just pirate it with friends, download Tunngle and play.
With MultiPlayer over servers from Steam it will take longer to crack or it won't even come at all.
I see your point.Thats a shame really, this is a cheap game (price wise I mean) and its sounds like a very good well made game.
Would be nice with LAN Play, I miss those days of LAN game play... ah well
The game is cheap at the moment because of Early Access, its end price may be higher.
However, I would support your LAN suggestion.
I cant believe people want LAN for play really LAN... is for use Tunngle for pirate version. Secure 100%.
For example the user open this thread dont have the game and want LAN support... 100% suspicious.
Just because you or your friends would do so, it does not mean everybody will. "100%"?
And Ross already explained his reasons. Why don't you just believe him?
People can ask questions without having the game, it isn't against the law lol.
LAN play is good, because not everyone has Internet access all the time. Would be nice if it was added.
So no, LAN =/= suspicious by default :)
Lol, this sounds like you would rather have this game on Uplay. Ubisoft trolling SD forums confirmed
