Yes, you can)

I can't say you'll get a pleasant experience, probably below 30-40fps on lowest settings.(And that's with the ridiculous popping in the current build).
Videocard is the bottleneck.

The HD3000 is going to be an issue. You sure this doesn't have a seperate GPU? Didn't know the 3000 used 2Gb...

Rest of the system specs should be fine.

NOPE IT WILL EXPLODE INTO A BILLION LITTLE CHOCOLATE COINS WHICH YOU CAN ONLY USE AT WALMART BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 3AM AND 4AM ON EASTER GIVEN THAT THE STORE HAS TEN OR LESS PEOPLE!

~Yes you should be able to play it wont run smooth but it will play. Get a better video card.

You won't be able to run it on highest settings, but all in all your system should be able to handle Stranded Deep.

I am assuming you are using the integrated HD5500 graphics unit that comes with your CPU.

Yes. As per the store page, the minimum required card is a Intel HD 5000. As I stated before though, you will probably have to run it on low, to medium settings. :)

So is it worth buying or will medium to low settings make it not enjoyable and laggy?

I seriously can't answer that question. The only way to find out would be to buy it. You would be able to refund it if your experience is below par (given you'd stay in the under 2 hours played, and refund within 14 days Steam policy).

I'm sorry I have to be that vague, but I neither have a machine here that is comparable to yours, nor do I recall any reports of people with similar specs.

how do u return if u cant play?
Sepp Apr 1, 2016 @ 6:52pm
http://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/

They tell you to go to http://help.steampowered.com and there you should find the dialogue once you're signed in.
