How to make a spear?
sorry im new to the game and i have seen spears in youtube videos but i dont know how to make them.

read/watch the crafting guide found at the top of these forums.
also: 2x sticks 1x rock shard 1x lashing

hit a rock a few times with a axe or knife and it will break into 2 rock shards

Also, if you don't know, you must place the ingredients near eachother on the ground to craft.

Not a fan of the guy in the sticky he kind of knows what he is doing but gives a lot of bad info. Telling people wrong re-spawn times and such, he’s not bad just not a fan. I feel if you can't take to the time to research and give correct info then you don't need to be giving people advice.
