Maybe exposure and the like may be real issues later during development. I certainly hope so otherwise all that crafting is kinda...pointless.
So can you build storage chests? And is it possible to build a bed in a hut? thanks for the reply
same islands
same ship wreks
same plants
same fish everywhere
crafting very very limited with no real depth
same tools, all for just surviving and visiting the same islands
no chance of trying to be rescued ( although i hear this featuer will be added )
i'm bored. lacks depth and content.
Let's hope the early access fan boys are right and alot more content and depth will be added, as it stands right now, its boring - crafing a few items and hopping to the same islands to do the same thing over and over again.
if your going to allow people to spend hours collecting items to craft, then make crafting fun. even early access, the crafting should have more depth than it has now.
im trying to be imaginative and creative in game but it's just spoilt by the repetiiveness of the current game concept, after a few hours im like 'why bother reaplying this' i know many are saying its early access etc etc.. but come on, why create a game that allows you to craft for no actual reason other than to sit and stare at it.
now, if i had an island to defend and hope of being rescued then thats a different story all together.
allow players to make islands their own, strongholds, flags, pvp possibly, lands to conquer and build strongholds.
i repeat what many others have said - this game has alot of potential to be so much more emersive, lets hope the devs get the support to achive this.
I'ts *very* hard to be poilte when Early Access REQUIRES suggestive input. That's WHY devs do it (ignoring capitalisation as a motive).
"I'm bored" is not suggestive input. Fully half your ideas are *on* the list. They haven't been developed yet for goodness sake!
Using "fanboys" is just wrong too mate. Early Access is a *method* not a religion.
well lets hope so. right now i dont even want to start the game up.
edited to stop the troll
People nowadays, can´t live some hours the peacefull way, and not getting bored playing a game without fighting, killing, murdering, stealing, raiding...
All this PvP stuff ends always with griefing and hacking in such games...
i do see your point about stealing, rading etc.. but im not implying those have to be added fully.. You're killing fish, crabs, sharks to survive are you not? your chpping down trees? but if you are happy visiting the same islands day in day out with the same items then that's ok for you, but the majority of gamers at least want crafting to be of some use that adds depth. we are talking about standard game content and creating some kind of depth and reality.. . if you are going to craft a hut, you want to be at least able to use the hut.. or travel to an island thats bigger than a detached house.
so the idea of seeing land off in the distance thats explorable would be attractive if it had old buildings to explore and maybe the chance of encoutering animals, beasts widllife..
Do I need to spell it out?
- Stop playing until it has more content. It's INCOMPLETE.
OR
- If you WANT to be involved in DIRECTING DEVELOPMENT, play, contribute and be involved.
THAT'S what Early Access is.
