Where are save files?

Since the game doesn't seem to have basic functionality for saving multiple plays, I want to find my save file, so I can switch between my single-player and co-op worlds. Anyone know where the save file is located?

I've seen two places listed (under Steam ID in the installation folder, or in Documents\Stranded Deep). Neither exists in the current version.

Game used to save to Doc folder, but was relocated a year or so ago..

It's now located.....

C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\LocalLow\Beam Team Games\Stranded Deep\Data

Change YOUR USER NAME to your user name.

Has never been located in any steam folder, some one has mislead you on that one..

Coop may have a separate save file as I have a dynamic_COOP.bytes file in my Slot0 folder..

Didn't it save to the game installation folder in very old versions?

Actually frillen, your're correct. I was a bit over confident on that one

I totally forgot that they got moved from the steam install to the doc folder some time after 0.26.exp

I have running copied of about 18 versions, from, 0.04.H2 to 0.26.00exp and these are all saved with the game files, which is why the saved versions still work, as they can call on their own saves, rather than from a common save.
