how do i play the story line

i always play personally made up games but i want to play the story line so if someone can help play the story line i will appreciate the help

There is no story line, This is open world, free world.

Make your own story line, Pretend its like your own Tv show with you showing your skills to live.

The devs have not added in the story elements yet. So for now, you just exist. They plan to add an end game scenario (rescue?).

how do i get the plane crash part back. once i used map editor to create my own island. i start a new game and it just has me appearing on the raft minus a paddle. i know i read the paddle animation is messed up but its not even appearing now.

The plane crash has been removed for now, while the devs work on other features of the game. The rafts are different now. They act more like doors or coconuts. Aim at the side of the raft, you will see a circle target. Click and hold until the circle fills and then you will become attached to the raft. Then use WASD keys to sail the raft around. It is weird, because there is no rowing animation yet, so the raft appears to move magically!
To get off the raft, fill in the circle again.

They removed the plane thing for now and now to move rafts and such you use wasd that is for life raft to so that you need a sail or motor for other things

is there a trick to the motor and sail boats i made barge size ones to carry stuff with from one island to my base and i find i have to keep going backwards and fwds to turn the thing. by barge size mean big and long enough to float 8 steel i beams in the center without ship sinking at all plus what i cn carry in my inventory.

Its a bit tricky I find you have to go forward and use a or d at the same time to move it

The bigger the raft you build the harder it is to turn, which makes complete sense when you think about it. Personally, I've made two rafts: a small one to get around easier, and a large barge to move container walls, etc.

hit them with your weapon of choice (axe, knife, stone shard etc), after 10ish hits it will come loose, then hold right mouse button on it to drag it about.

container doors - do them one hit at a time, don't hold left mouse button that just opens & closes the door.

they still have cuting trees its just a bit difrent the palm trees are no longer cutable they now have smaller ones to cut
