is there a way to put a shelter on your raft ??

trying to not build a shelter on every island I come to just so I can save the game.

There is a mod that lets you build on rafts, but I don't know if allows shelters.

What you can do is make a sleeping bag. You put it down and it will work like a shelter, allowing you to sleep or save. Then pick it up when you leave. I forget when it unlocks. Edit: you place it on land, not on your raft.

Just craft sleeping bag woks same as shelter and you can carry anywhere you go.

When you have beached your raft you can drop bed/sleeping bag on the raft for save/sleep. I do it often to avoid forgetting bed on the island when I leave.

I used to do that too (have a cot just on the raft, so I don't forget when I leave).

Now I have a dedicated space in a crate on a container shelf on the raft for the cot/sleeping bag. Because it happened to me (ok, only once, but...), where I had the cot on the raft, and while i was watching, but a little ways down the beach, a shark got close enough and 'bumped' the raft. the cot went flying off to the far fars. Into the deep, and unrecoverable. Irritating to make a new cot, it's 'expensive'.
