How can I play saved game on another comp?

Hi, survivalists! =)
I need your help!
I played SD on my notebook earlier, and now I've desided to continue my game on PK. But I can't load saved game because of error - game can't found some files. =( How can I start saved game on another PK?
I thought, all player's files should be saved in some Steam cloud services or something like this(

Нужна помощь советом: как мне запустить сохраненную игру на другом компьютере? При попытке загрузиться, игра выдает какую-то ошибку, файлов каких-то не может найти, или контрольного числа, генерящегося вместе с генерируемой картой. Как это пофиксить, как запустить старую игру на другом компе?

Don't you have to make sure saves to cloud is turned on? I may be wrong though.

Maybe go back to notebook. Check under settings that cloud save is on. Run and save SD, then try loading on PC.

Just throwing that out there, like I said, I may be completely wrong, usually I am. :)

Cloud save is on, but there s no effect(( Maybe some another suggestions?(

Other than making sure your are running the same version on both notebook and PC, which I'm guessing it would be, given it's the same account. Verify the files is all I can suggest. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can help. Sorry :(

Email your save file to yourself and open it and istall on other device? I know I've played other peoples save's that way. I'm like Papa,,I'm justing throwing ♥♥♥♥ at the wall to see if it sticks. And trying to help of course.

You will need to find your savegame, as well as your world folder, and copy them to the respective adress on the other pc.


Your savegame folder is usually found here:
*:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stranded Deep\Stranded_Deep_x64_Data\Data

Folder name is a long number (your personal Steam ID) 1234567890123456789, inside is a 1234567890123456789.json and a backup file.


Your world folder is usually found here:
*:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stranded Deep\Stranded_Deep_x64_Data\Data\Editor

This folder holds your worlds island information, as well as your seed.

A bit оf disappointment though... I thought, one of Steam's advantages is exactly Cloud saving, but what a fail)))))

yep I did the same thing, brought my laptop to another country assuming my world was saved on steam - I've already played over 120 hours on the computer at home so I won't be starting again. Oh well lesson learnt.......
