General
Look for "Ocean Motion Sickness Effect". I currently have mine set at 8%. and sometimes it's still too much.
Otherwise, although it's really hard to do because it storms frequently, also try to avoid traveling to another island during a storm.
Not related to motion sickness effect, but I find the storms loud and annoying, too. So under Audio, I set Environment Volume to 0% (I also have Music set to 0%, too, but that's my preference).
