how to install custom maps???

When I go to the files, "editor" is not there. i only have "bundles" "default maps" and "licenses".

If you are using a MAC then I cannot help as I don't know the right folder used there.

If you are trying to play custom island MountainDwellers, then there is no need to install it. I've uploaded it to the Steam Workshop. All you need to do is subscribe in the Workshop to this island, with a checkmark.

Okay, next question lol. I dragged the maps into the cartographer, loaded a new game, and i dont see the islands anywhere? Am I doing something wrong?

If you drag the custom islands close to the island that you are on, then you should see them on the Cartographer map. They will have whatever odd shape the creator gave them. They usually do not look anything like the standard SD islands.

From inside the game, you should see the custom islands if you dragged them close to the island that you are currently on.

Are you running any mods that might be affecting the cartographer?
