Stranded Deep
How can I transport huge objects (like tires) from an island to other?
I passed through several islands (4, I think) and now I wanna come back to the one I was settled down. Now I wanna take the objects I found (some tires, a propulsor and some necessary for building a "house", like planks). How should I proceed?

Well you don't really have many options here if you want to transport them. The safe way is one at a time by raft. Just make sure you don't have it collide to much with the raft or it will be troublesome.

If you have the starter raft, you might be able to put them inside it and transport them more easily than using any rafts with a flat top.

I had this problem while simpling sailing... I had to "grab" the raft till the island...

Some of the objects - like planks - will fit in your inventory, tyres and barrels don't. Best is to use them on-site (you can build from the water). You can also drag them or, like mentioned by the others in this thread, carry them with the raft.

The maximum possible amount of objects on a raft that I have heard of was 40 sticks or two barrels/tyres.

I make rafts with a "cargo hold" for this reason—just leave the middle of it without a platform, and that will help secure whatever you're carrying: https://cloudup.com/ccz6ykRIGWR

Wait what? You can make larger rafts! I've been doing it all wrong.

This build will carry 2 container panels/doors, 6 tires or 6 barrels. The trick is balance. Tires/barrels get placed 3 on each end, 1 on the center floor, 2 on each tire section. Container parts get placed on the center end and span all 3 sections.

I like this build for 2 reasons. It can carry a good amount of big materials and it still maintains good maneuverability.

I didn't know it too. Know I'm doing it again... I kinda spent one raft and it will become inutile....

I just wanna give back to a community that's given me help.

Thanks guys. And thanks Beam Team for giving us this great game to explore and share our experiences.

Well said. I always dreamed of a game like this. The only option I had was one called Stranded 2, by Unreal Software. It's good to see how survival games are getting more space :D
