Stranded Deep
WATER, I NEED WATER
Yea, my problem is killing me, in Stranded Deep, of course :D But the problem is that I don't have anything to drink! On my island, I...well destroyed all my palm trees and I can't get coconuts, and drink from them! But that isn't the biggest problem! I can't drink sea water, even if I put it on firepit, wait even a day, and still undrinkable! Help me, Please!

There is several methods of staying hydrated. Recently added water collector and water still as well as using coconuts. You can use your raft and go to a new island to get the coconuts until either of those added crafts produce the water needed to keep you going. You can use the coconuts in place of buckets for the water collector if need be from what I understand (never used it that way myself yet.)

Okay, thanks

It's a little odd. Your best bet is the water collector (2 buckets, a tarp, fire spit)! The bottom bucket should have sea water in it and the top bucket should be empty.

Yea, I build that water collector, I may try it today

I just tried the water collector. It's fantastic, but it demands too much time for finishing...

So we dont NEED drink water as such to survive then, we just NEED drink coconut 'milk' ??

Hmmm..... Unrealistic cus the body wouldnt be able to sustain itself.

You need to use two buckets. The one in the bottom with water. The one in the top, empty. Boil it and the drinkable water will be inside the top one.

I usually think ahead and boil water when I don't need it, just so it's there. If you sleep it off, you don't notice the wait time - but of course have to be well hydrated before sleeping.

However I just have only 1 water collector and so far 4 water stills so I don't have to waste resources on filling up the pit again. Water is not a problem then. Remembering to come home and water plants on the other hand... >.>

No the way it works is this : Water from bucket evaporates and then condenses and fills the bucket on the top with regular water because you would need a way to seperate the salt from the water if you just boiled it on a fire.

I know. I just thought it wouldn't be necessary to explain at this level.
