PS4 Controller

I'm using DS4 Windows for PS4 controller support.
It does not seem to work with Stranded Deep. Has anyone else had the same problem or know of a way that I can use a controller with this game?

I keep reading that people are using Xpadder (or whichever) but I am using a different mapper.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also having the same problem using InputMapper. It's not picking up anything with my controller except the mouse on the trackpad. I'm not about to pay $10 for Xpadder either. InputMapper works for every other game out there.

While I agree with you that keyboard & mouse offer much better control for pc games, there are however people that prefer using (console)game controllers :)

Adaptation is everything :)
Apply the control of PC games (joystick, mouse, keyboard) or remain at console.
A small step .. great effect. Very easy.

I also do not use any floating fins on land LOL

How dare I want to use a controller for my own experience!
I cannot use a keyboard and mouse as I have a physical limitation. But, that's my fault right?

It is not trolling if there was no way to know you have a physical limitation until now. ;)

Sam used the ps4 tool and it seemed to work fine for him, not for everyone though as it seems.

That is strange. I've got the same setup here working fine?

As for XPadder, I tried it out and it worked for my gamepad, it's a cheapish Speedlink one, so I would guess it would be worth a try.

I take it you started PC gaming in the late 90's early 2000's? Just assuming, considering your narrow-minded perspective on the capabilities of PCs.

The new input system queries XInput directly so it's possible there may be some driver incompatibility. Third party tools like DS4Win and PS3 SCP drivers create emulated XInput devices. Try uninstalling these tools/drivers.
