Well I built a hobo stove on a new island and the potatoes have been working on hobos but I have cooked the same three potatoes with three full campfires and they still aren't cooked. I know because I ate one and puked....

You can cook them on a fire. They'll change to 'Cooked Potato' when ready

Cooking time for potatoes are extremely long, something around eight in-game hours if I remember correctly.

Remember cooked potatoes will still spoil. So recooking the potatoes doesn't help.

its very hard to see if something is cooked or not.. also 1 potato on a huge spit D: if its cooked does it still stack with the uncooked potato? I think Ill just not eat potato coz I just yacked out my guts (ingame) Lol

I"ve noticed it takes two wood to cook a potato (3 in game hours), but they never update the name tag, only says "Potato" even after cooked.
