HELP - how to make a copy of my save

I've read some things about making a copy of your saved game in the computer library in order to start a new game without losing the old one.
Does anyone knows how to find that file and which file specifically?
I play in a macbook, but I guess it is the same procedure.

The PC version and the Mac version store the files in different places I believe.
For me (On PC) it would be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stranded Deep\
then I would copy the entire Stranded_Deep_Data folder, I think that might be ott but I like to make sure heh.

It's easiest if you use column view in the finder.

1) In the Finder, hold down the option key and click the "Go" menu.
2) In the Go menu, click on the Library folder
3) In the Library folder, go to Application Support > Steam > steamapps > common > Stranded Deep
4) Right click (or control click) on Stranded_Deep_x64 and choose "Show Package Contents"
5) go to Contents > Data
6) You will see a numbered folder. This is your saved game.
7) Make a copy of this folder. Tip: option drag the folder to your desktop or Documents folder to make a copy.
