Question about console commands...
I need to use God mode to take some aerial photographs of my custom island, and also to review the underwater edits I need to make; unfortunately, when I opened the console and typed "dev.god," it didn't work. I also tried typing "dev.god true," which also didn't work. Please note that I did not use quotes in the console.

Could somebody please explain how to turn God mode on, and also how to turn it off? Thanks!

Also, does anybody have a complete list of all available commands in the console since the new update took effect?

So... "dev.god true no," turns god mode on... how do I turn it off? What does the "no" refer to?

you do not need to type true or false....just dev.god to start and stop god mode

I've tried the above commands (re: ad33p & GrampyNH instructions) and all I get is: "command unrecognized." or... something similar. Could it be that I'm still using version .70 and need to use the old commands? If I do, could one of you please list the command? Thanks!

make sure you do not use caps (i do that often) . And also after a failed attempt you have to hit enter again beffore typing agaon. There is no spce between dev. and god

I tried this; still doesn't work.... could you give me the old command for God mode to see if that will work?

It was like
devtools.god

Depending on you KB layout you could have the same thing to fall for though:
On my KB the key to open console is: ^
Pressing that one opens the console, but when i start typing afterwards i get like:
^dev.blabla
So i have to press backspace first to clear the line, then start typing, ya know.

Here's an additional link:

It's in german, but take a look at the two screenies on the bottom, pretty sure you'll get the idea.
We'll get you there, mate!

I never used the god command, but for the console it was devtools.testing.console true . Try that for your god command maybe...

Hello fellow survivors,
After playing the latest Stable branch a while and being bored with the 5x5 grid, I decided to play the Experimental branch again. However I forgot the command for changing the timescale. Can someone help me out with this? Thanks.

It's dev.timescale xx.
Latest stable should include the big world, it's on par with the experimental version.
You'd have to generate a new world though for it to pop up.
Btw., if you don't want to set it everytime you start, there's a mod on nexus which will work also with the latest version. Helps if you, like me, forgot to set it manually.

It's dev.timescale xx (where xx stands for a number) without a dot between timescale and xx.

Yes I have tried that. I am using experimental branch 0.71.00 and the way you suggested does not work
