Stranded Deep
Repairing the Plane?
I am playing on the Experimental Build and I found the plane. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how to repair the thing. I go into the crafting menu and then to story but there is no plane icon. The only things listed are the sea monster trophies which are of course locked since I haven't hunted them down, but, I thought that was optional so I don't know why I can't see any of the plane parts. Help?

Haven't gotten that far, but IIRC those parts are to be found on the boss islands

You have to kill each of the bosses. You get 1 trophy and 1 airplane part for each boss. Once you have killed all 3, you use the 3 aircraft parts to repair the plane and escape.

You will also need food, water an fuel. before it will let you take off. Broadbent has a vid on it on utube.

UGH, forcing me into boss battles. Great, I hate this plan.

Also, if this is the case for the Alpha then it has become a game that I will never finish. I just tried to take on the eel and feck that. I just don't have the skill to be able to do this kind of thing which is why I liked the fact that they were optional before. I can barely kill a fecking boar with it running around and in fact I play the game in passive mode because I like the building and exploring but don't like the constant deaths I was having in normal mode because of snakes, op boars and crabs, random ♥♥♥♥ in the water that swims past me, etc. If I wanted real life I would move to Australia where everything can kill you.

Derek even in pasive mode you can still kill the boss I believe, just stay close to the structures at the surface (dead whale, signal bouey, crows nest ) It`s harder for them to get you there. You them as cover.

They did mention at some point that there would be an alternative route to the end game for those that didn't like the boss fights, don't know if they still consider it to become a thing :)

You have to rescue the goblin tinkerer first, then buy the crafting bench from him, you need the 3 boss engine parts and wire bought from the Mechanic... wait...

Not holding my breath, but I've seen things that was talked about years ago suddenly become a reality much later, so everything is possible, but I am holding my breath for the return of infinite world or at least one that is several times bigger XD
