do coconuts grow back if i leave the trees unchopped?

running out of water and need to heal before i head out to a nother island. have not found bucket in 4 plus islands yet :(. lmk asap por favor :).

i read in prior builds they do not, just curious if thats been changed.

No buckets anymore, they were removed. Use a solar still and an empty drinkable coconut.

I recently started playing again and went to 6 islands looking for a damned bucket LOL
Had no idea you can use empty coconut as water container

Pretty sure the coconuts grow back. Solar still fills up pretty quickly.

Hunt a couple boars, get some leather, make a waterskin to you have something to travel with.

coconut do grow back, it just takes time. in the meantime make a solar still, buckets dont exist.

Coconuts do not grow back in Stranded Deep :)
Yucca, young palm trees and wild potatoes is the only plant/fruit/veggie that regrows in the game

pray then explain to me how it is that trees i have claimed the coconuts from have them back when i return to the island later?

Then it is something new, I have had several save games with 100+ days of survival, I've never seen coconuts regrow after being picked, and as far as I know they never have :)

I've never seen a palm tree resprout a coconut.
If it happens it's a very very recent addition.

over 100 hours in this game, the coconuts do not grow back. Always thought it was kinda dumb considering most things grow back, and some even super quickly. but coconuts no. If someone is getting them to grow back what is the secret? are you watering the tree or something lol?

Honestly I've never seen a coconut 'respawn' before my eyes, but I swear I've seen some respawn when I was away from islands.
