Stranded deep on mac? please help

Hi, I've got a question.
I'm trying to play Stranded Deep on my mac and even on the lowest settings it runs with bearly 1fps wich is kinda ennoying...
Can you tell me what the problem is? Because i Thought i would match the minimum requirements

I've got the latest macOS Catalina Version 10.15.3
a 2,6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris 1563 MB Graphikcard

based on those specs im assuming you are running a macbook pro from mid 2014. in which case while the hardware might mostly be at minimum specs, your powersupply isn't actually adequate to RUN the hardware at peak, putting you below the minimum.

yes mecbook pro.. from late 2013 i think..
so there is no way around that? well thats a shame :( thank you!

Unfortunately no, they just weren't built for gaming. You CAN however right click the game in your library, select properties, and opt into the 0.04 build (assuming its too late for a refund) which your machine should be able to run.it's older but still fun. Then in the future if you get a new machine that can run the up to date build you can still enjoy the game.

However steam does offer refunds if you've run the game less than 2 hours and purchased it less than 2 weeks ago.
