Snake bite

Hey guys! I have not really put effort into playing this game for maybe a year and a half, and there's been a couple changes since I played.

One thing I noticed is that snake bites now poison you? that's pretty cool. Though, I can't seem to find antibiotics? Back when I last played the game poison was cured by antibiotics. are these still in the game, or are they just hard to find? I also saw something in the consumables crafting menu that said "Antidote" (or something like that) but I can't find the resource called "pipi" needed to craft it. Any help? Thanks! :)

If you look under crafting consumables you will find how to make an antidote.
You can also let the poison run its course. if you wait for 72 hours ingame time it will clear itself up, you however take damage every waking hour so you will have to sleep alot.

Thanks, I didn't know the poison would run it's course, per se. Back when I played this game frequently you had to fix yourself with whatever med. I think it's nice that you fix yourself after a course of time. :)

Antibiotics and all the other older medications were removed from the game and replaced with "Potions" which you need to craft.

Antidote cures you from poisoning caused by snakes, Lion Fish and / or the large purple starfish things...

Antidote is crafted using 2 Pipi and 1 coconut flask....

Pipi is hard to spot... you have probably ran right over them numerous times, but they can be found on sandy areas of the island, appearing as a small lime green "bud" in the center of some of the flat, round "vine-like" plants...
