It says it is multiplayer in the store page, how can i play with my buddy on another PC? I dont see an option other then co op, which wants me to plug a controller in.

Steam labels any game that supports multiple players as multiplayer, currently the only way to play on separate PC's would be to use Steams remote play as the game itself only supports 2 player split-screen co-op.

Hope that helps :)

We are sitting side by side, on sepereate computers, both with the game downloaded, tried connecting via remote play, that then when i try and start the game says "go into input settings and assign a controller for each player"

Due to the way Steams remote play works to play split screen you both have to use a different controller, i.e. you cant both use the keyboard and mouse so one of you has to use a controller while the other uses the keyboard. If you are sat side by side you might find it easier playing on just one computer if that were possible as it splits the screen in half anyway so you both will see both half's on your separate screens?

That way you could plug the controller into the one PC and you should be good to go? :)
