What the heck. Coconuts are making me sick?

This is unrealistic and frankly NONSENSE, I hope this is a bug or something. NOT that I expect anyone to agree with me. I know for a fact that I could eat and drink four coconuts without getting sick.

Its not a bug. Maybe its like that to kind of push you into making a water still and hunting for food.

I too found it strange that coconuts had this affect however I appreciate this is a game and not a simulation. As terry said, its probably the way it is to get the player to build things.

I would be nice if the game told me I was feeling sick before letting me get diarrhea. Like my character saying: Ahhh, I don't feel so good. A better way to balance it would be to just reduce the amount of coconuts and/or coconut trees.

I've also noticed that eating the coconuts is usually what does it, maybe the hunger they replenish could be reduced instead of diarrhea.

Yeah, the water still... It would be nice if I could build a salt water still. I wish there was a salt water still. For balance the salt water still could be slower and more expensive to build.

I hope the dev team is listening and considering some of the ideas on the discussions.

Actually this is perfectly in line with reality. Coconut water contain a large dosage of sodium phosphate and even in regular healthy individuals can act as a laxative in the quantities you were using in the game. Not to mention the "meat" of a coconut is also a VERY high fiber substance adding to the effect.

Coconut is used to cure constipation. Since you seem to think it CAUSES constipation....I can only make the assumption that you heard someone use 'Coconut' and 'Constipation' in the same sentence without actually listening to the rest of the sentence.

Next time, it would behoove you do some research before insulting someone smarter than you.

just be glad the player character isn't allergic to coconuts. It's meant as an emergency food anyway. Just don't eat/drink more than 3 in an ingame 8 hour period.

I wasn't trying to insult anyone I'm just in-sensitive but look who is making insulting comments now. As a matter of fact you try to insult me with assumptions about me. I could provide research but it honestly it wouldn't change anything, you people would still be here arguing with everything I say.

Nor do I care for mayo clinic's arguments. Nor do I care how much money greedy corporations paid the USDA and Mayo Clinic to tell people coconut water isn't great so those corporations can sell you trash instead. You search for something on the internet and it will tell what you want to hear. Believe what you want.
