Fishing help?
When fishing using the fishing pole, the line always snaps and I have to swim out and get the bobber. Any tips for making the line not snap?

This is like a mini game in game, play the fish, it might take a while to tire the fish..

Don't just reel it in, is not going to work as you have found out..

ISn't it easier and more effective to just use a fishing spear?

For sure is better to fish with a spear, you don't waste your time and you take Codfish (2 medium meat each) they are easy to catch... good luck

Try a different fishing spot. I've noticed at least one spot on my main island where the line seems to snap right away every time. Deep water and big fish? No idea why. Yet fishing off of my pier is no problem, although I'm still trying to get the hang of reeling in the big fish.

Also, if you missed my other post, snap the line on purpose if you hook a snake. It's glitchy.

take one fish spear, one breath boost and one shark repellant and just dive in and catch fish. lion and cod are best. lion for shark repellent, cod for food

Best method that works for me is to start to reel in the fish, and just as my rod starts to bend at the third section, I stop reeling and give the fish some line, then when the rod straightens up, begin reeling again. Just don't let your rod bend too far is the answer in a nutshell....

learn to make the fish tired, just like in real life 😁
