fuel production?
I made a fuel still, put potatoes as some videos suggest in, but i cant produce any fuel, refired the thing 4 times still no fuel. any idea? moving around with default raft is so annoying

put potatoes in the fuel still and light the campfire, wait for a day and come back, should be some fuel produced, you can pick up the fuel with another jerrycan.

thats what i did, fired up the campfire 3-4 times and no fuel:( something is wrong. im doing a new still maybe it will fix it

is it consuming the potatoes?

Did you placed an empty jerrycan in aswell? (to fill up, and take with you?)

@snifferdog no it shows me full potatoes, 4/4, i used 4 fireplaces in 2 different days and still nothing. I have lots of potatoes farmed but im missing some things to create a new still to see if its a bug or im doing something wronge.

crackatau, i have an empty jerrycan ready to be filled up, but the still is not producing any..

hmm very odd, ur defo lighting the fire UNDER the fuel still? must be a bug if you are. have you made fuel in the past?

the fire underneeth is run out of fuel so i put a new fire in the pit(3-4) so it might be a bug if its not the original fire or something, but that means that everytime i fill up my jerrycan i have to make a new still.. will try a new still in like an hour!

update. I made a new still. all the things are the same. IT WORKS. i have no idea why my primary one failed and still does.. at least I had an extra jerrycan to make this 2nt still (and a final third to pick the fuel)

I dunno which version you are playing, but If I were In your shoes....I would start a new game and set things right (hopefully)..... Your choice.

They are small , ankle high, plants on random islands, you really gotta search hard. Once you have found the first one, plant them in a crop plot and use the new ones to plant again until you have at least three or four plots. Watering is a grind, use a clay bottle if you can, it works faster. I suggest three or four water collector/stills to support the garden. You can use the fiberous leaves in the water still as well as the fronds.

ebinxavier. You have to find that one first. usually they are in the middle of the islands, very dark green and small plant, once you find one plant it. I currently have 4 potato plants, 3 guava and a pipi plant(for poisoning) and planing to make more, watering it is a bit tough, but when it rains its easy.
