boat engine don't start

hi
i start yesterday and i have a probleme, i create a small boat with a anchor on front and i all the piece for the engine, i create it and put in on the back , i have a jerrycan for gaz but the engine don't start .
i push e again and again but that don't start , i try too lift the anchor, the boat go to the ocean but still don't start with the "e" . can someone tell me what i did wrong ?

Your jerrycan might be empty and your boat motor out of fuel.
When you find a jerrycan they are empty, you have to build a fuel still where you can distill potatoes to get fuel for motors :)

thx i see on youtube ( maybe old version ) than the jerrycan was full . yes it's empty and soo i distill .
