raft with a motor question

I swear i was watching a youtube video where a guy had a raft with a rudder and a motor as well as a sail on the raft. i can not get my motor to mount and i hate to take off my sail and rudder,, if i run out of gas it would be handy to sail back in,, is there a way to have both on the same raft ?

I have both motor and rudder with sail on my raft.
You have to put the rudder and motor on the same side and make sure you place them while the raft is floating in water because the build system will not let you build them on land. By the way, this screenshot is on exp build and should still work on stable build because I have a raft with both rudder and motor also.

I have also 2 boats with motor and sail/rudder. Both 5x5. The second boat with storage bays for 12 krates so they cant slip of the boat.

You cant attach motor at same subraftparts where is a anchor or rudder. And you can only attach motor, sail, rudder, anchor at parts with a raftfloor.

You can build on land, just hang it over the rocks, like tressels in a workshop

Hmmm, this frustrates me,,,my raft is a 2x3,, i have tried adding another row to make it 3x3 but even in the water they stay red and wont attatch, i have bouys and tires so far, tried addint more tires and wood and its not letting me, maybe i need to be in deep water to add the motor and more size to it.

I added all parts of my raft in deep water (water with no sand at ground).

tried saddlebags advice and proped it up on rocks and was able to add on and attatch motor,, Thanks
