Water still
So is it me or was there an update with the water still? Before I didn't need a coconut flask to make the still but now I do. it seems it takes forever to get water and I only get one drink when I make the water still the generation never goes up and I have two. My boy is dying of thirst! Help

They should really yeld much more water, and capable of gathering water during rain. Crops require a lot of water too.

Build water still. Put either fibrous leaves or palm fronds into it. Wait. Profit.

Don't you know? Stranded Deep is now a water collecting simulator.

i built the one with cocount flash, rope, leaves, sticks and rock. i wait for like hours and nothing...

Again, you have to fuel the water still with leaves/palm fronds to actually generate ANY water.

While I do like to watch Youtubers play Stranded Deep, it also amuses me how much they complain when something like this changes to require a little more work, and that they rarely read the update notes - It is as if they feel it like a problem for them to progress fast enough so they can show as much as possible in as little time as possible to keep their audience entertained in what they think is the best possible way - Sort of like games are not meant to be too challenging and require work, but rather be showcased in a quick way *lol*

I only posted the video to gave the OP a heads up on how to fuel the still. But on a side note Alienange is one of the better SD Youtubers. He plays the game in a legit way and for a long time, so his content has quite some consistency. I guess his mild ranting is because he simply has to get used to the new game mechanics like many other people too.

I like watching Alienange play Stranded Deep once in a while, he has a good humor, but I think he spends too much time building.
He sometimes say "today we are going out exploring" and then he ends up spending most of the video building a little more to his house and garden.
I think he could more followers if there was a bit more variety in his videos, but still he is a decent and fun guy to watch play :)

The new water still is fine but why oh why don't the farming plots and water stills fill with water when it rains? That just doesn't compute.
