Stranded Deep
Tutorial disappeard after exit and resume saved game.
I have just started to play the game so very new. I was following the tutorial at the top right, built a shelter then saved game before leaving to come back to it at a later time only to see that the tutorial no longer available and no explaining of what to make next in terms of crafting.
Help please and thank you.

There is a setting to enable/disable the tutorial when you go to options, maybe have a look there.

Thank you for this but sadly this does not work either. Before I logged out I got to the point where it told me to craft a hammer then I logged out to come back at a later time and this does not show up anymore, Tutorial is set to on, I have tried turning it off then back on again and even turned it off, exited the game then turned it back on and resumed gameplay to no luck.

Only New Game has the tutorial. Once you save and quit to main menu or desktop tutorial will not continue. If you want to play the tutorial the only thing you can do is start a new game.

Thank you so much IPositive, at least I know now there is nothing wrong with my game and not a glitch, thank you once again :)

Literally unplayable.

What a frustration it disappears.. I quit the game after the first shelter/save and I would like to know much more about crafting before playing by myself.
So the suggestion is to keep the tutorial until a certain point (or by choosing to hide it in the options) independently of saving .

The tutorial is short. If you're dead set on finishing it you'll need to do it in a single game session.
If you need even more help crafting press the 'C' key to open your crafting menu or read some guides. The game now has a crafting skill to keep you from crafting long-term structures before you have your basics built. Make a fishing spear, a knife, a hatchet, shelter, campfire and a water catcher. Congratulations, you just won the game.

The tutorial is pretty short, shouldnt take 15 minutes to finish it unless you run into a resource issue. It doesnt really teach you anything about crafting(from the point you were at it just tells you to craft more stuff, nothing you cant do on your own) and there aren't any rewards for finishing it so you aren't missing anything.

I wouldn't recommend following the tutorial, as early on it has us making a wooden hammer and building a foundation. Resources are scarce in the early game, and those things are not absolutely necessary. There are more important things one can craft.
Agreed. The makeshift hammer is only useful for making the plank station. It's a waste of rocks, especially in the early game.

Ah, I just encountered this, which seems to be not fixed anymore.

Now I only remember last thing it asked me to do was crafting the water thingie, but I would have liked to finish tutorial, as it guides you a little bit at the start

That's definitely correct but the purpose of the tutorial isn't best play but how to play. So, it briefly shows the player how to build a shelter.

When I played the first time and realized that a wooden hammer and making a small shelter was a waste of resources, I restarted with the tutorial off seeing as I was only ~1 hour into the game. With save slots, this is even less of an issue as you can still keep your old, not efficient save if you want.

ok im trash i get it but it took me an hour to get to building a shelter due to the fact that fibral plants are hard asf to find and the tutorial never told me i could juast cut down a fibral tree for the fibre so i was an hour in and i hadnt even started making my house with a hammer and thats when i left and came back no instructions

Two year old unresolved bug involving a dissapearing Tutorial. I wonder how deeply embedded in the game's code this issue lies?
