If you go to Cartographer, create world, and put in your own seed...
3030405 there is a cargo ship on the starting island.
I also like this one, because the boss' and aircraft carrier are North and NorthEast, not scattered everywhere.
35625310 is also a good seed; the center/starting isle doesn't have much, but I usually land, go around and quickly loot the loose rocks and cloth, the potato and pipi and then jump back into the yellow raft and paddle over to the island to the West, there's a cargo ship on that isle, and make that your home base. This one is also a good home base one, because the boss and aircraft carrier are to the South of that position; again, not scattered all over.
Sometimes, sure, I don't even want to fight the boss' so who cares where they are. I usually don't escape anymore; but I do like to have a nice trophy wall. :)
so, fyi, once you've created a world in the cartographer w/ a world seed, then go start a new game, and make sure you stick with "existing" instead of "random", so your world that you made in the cartographer remains.
