10 Day Bug. Hermit, Vegetarian and Fish Are Friends

Hermit
Spend 10 days on one island.
I just spent over 20 days eating potato's and coconut.
Vegetarian and Fish Are Friends are not working as well.
anyone else have the same issue?
Fell asleep twice. Hitting forward key I woke in the middle of the ocean getting attacked by a hammer head he got me down to around 2 HP bars. Also woke up with hydration bar at nothing about to die. Still haven't died at 70 days hehe.

Hey there, I achieved the 10 Days on 1 Island without problems (Just Farming, eating sleeping- not even entered the sea).
"Fish are Friends" worked for me as well (Boar Meat - take care, they got the same image in your invenotry as Fish)

Some achievements that drive me nuts are:
>"Call me Ahab" (Collect all Boss Trophies) - Yesterday i collected all three and put them on my
wall - no Achievement. (btw. "Hunter of the High Seas" worked)
>Industrial Fashion (10 pieces furniture corrugated)- I think this include the tables and Shelf
made from corrugated scap - they both are lister as furniture. I made the shelfes as they are
cheaper. Didnt unlock. Now i try with tables.
>Horticulturalist (One of each farm crop planted on one Island) - Aloe, Kura, Pipi, Yucca, Potato, Quawa, Ajuga - all in my garden, full grown - no Achievement.

But I'm happy that the most Achievements work since this week.

So i might as well forget about them really. Till its fixed. 40 iron is a lot to find. hmm not sure what I'm doing wrong. i might try eating my toe nails. thanks for the help Chorax

You didn't use a custom island at all did you? The only reason I ask is that the achievements don't work on custom islands.

As posted in another thread, I also have not gotten Hermit or Fish are Friends, despite starting a new game, staying 20 days just on the starter island, and subsisting on a diet of seagulls.

So guessing that means, can't even go into the water? I did explore the reef around my island...

Thanks guys that helps but I just Died, lost a heap of progress again made it to 75 days. Built a raft and tried to put a gyro in it and it got stuck forgot to take healing supplies out on a test run and it run out of fuel and I had none. I started pulling it to home and a great white made me bleed. when i tried to get the gyro it flipped and I got bit again and thats that. Didnt even make a boss fight.

I have 3 custom islands in my current world, one of which is my home island and have gotten 5 achievements so far, is it only certain achievements you cant receive on custom islands or are you not suppose to receive any?

As far as I know (from what Beam Team have said in other threads) achievements are not supposed to work on custom islands... I think Sam meant all of them but I am not 100% sure to be honest :)

I'm about to set up custom it wasn't an option before I hope it works now that I have died it might unlock. Not going to start from start again.

cartographer is stuck in load, It might be cause I changed PC and all my old data is on the other PC. not sure if I want to mess about with file transfer. I am going to try a reinstall. Seems to me that it hasn't saved on steam if the reinstall doesn't work.
Map files don't save on steam do they???

Same problem it seems to be looking for files that are not there. Cartographer map files are hard to find any tips where they should be?? I would like to be able to use the Cartographer, one of the best parts of the game.

Cartographer still not working after reinstall. Tried adding my custom maps from old PC and nothing. I give up, someone else was having the same problem and got no response in forums. Not sure what else to try. First I die at 75 days and lost 4 days and now I cant access my favourite part of the game. might try killing the bosses again and see if that unlocks the Cartographer but I don't think that will work......

I know people before were having problems opening cartographer because their Maps folder was missing but I am not sure if that bug was fixed or not.

In the folder \Documents\Stranded Deep\Data\Experimental\Editor\ you should have the folders Maps and World (and possibly Screenshots folder too)
or in the folder \Documents\Stranded Deep\Data\Editor\ if you are not running experimental.
