Aloe Salve only 1 use?
Seems like for 3 months in the game you need this every day, but if it is only good for one use now. Eventually there wont be enough Aloe or Coconuts to make flasks and Salves .Is this intentional? I figure at least 3 or more uses would be better. What do you all think?

I think the problem would be made simpler by not consuming the flask. Consuming the flask poses a problem with any mixture be it aloe or antidote.

You must have one hell of a garden to produce 2 aloe vera a day during the summer months. ;)
That'd take 4 plots of just aloe working non-stop. I doubt that'd be easy to maintain while bringing in a coconut every day, too. #save the coconuts!

Doesmt custom islands make it easier anyway? Talk about making the game easier....they sure do!!!
Yes, but my point is that if you find ONE you have unlimited. It's not hard and doesn't need to be made easier.

I agree its not too bad. I like the way the new pfp thing, or whatever it's called works.

But it's not infinate. You cant grow coconuts.

Thats my point Kage. Coconuts are used for crafting many things and they are a limited resource. Comsuming the flask makes no sense at all. The player isnt running around buck naked and only needs to apply the Aloe( not eat it) to arms, neck and face. It just doesnt make sense to me. In my opimion 3 uses would be about right.

You can't grow coconuts but coconuts regrow by themselves as long as you don't chop down the palm tree it grew from.

That has got to be a new thing then because I've never seen them regrow before.

They aren't migratory either, as seagulls are not swallows.

Can anyone confirm this as I haven't noticed this in any of my playthroughs?

No, I don't believe they do. Player claims of coconuts respawning are sparse. It has been commonly accepted that they do not respawn and the devs haven't contradicted this in the long time that 'do coconuts respawn' has been popping up in the forums. Recent changelogs also don't mention any change to it.

Unlimited uses was a bug. 1 use is intended. You can grow them for unlimited aloe vera. No issue

You can use aloe for one use, why should we make salve for the same ammount

Hi there, just started the game and i "rage" quit the game for the first time annoyed because my flask disappeared after using the aloe salve. I have spent a rope, a coconut and all aloe vera plant i have for a one time useage when i just can go swimming? This item is useless with one time useage and even disappearing the whole coconut flask. Made me feel, that my effort to craft this item, was not worth my time.

Limited resources is a key part of a SURVIVAL game.

It was supposed to be limited from the start but a glitch made it never run out. Sorry if that causes you "rage" but hell, you can start a new game on super-easy difficulty and not have to worry about sun, poison, or eating, etc.,
Captain Slog 25 AGO 2019 a las 11:42 p. m.
I have no problem with the Aloe Salve being "one use" only but the coconut container could be left intact and just re-filled with salve
